Juliana Vasquez: Brighton Landscapes

"Brighton landscapes" is a photopoetic project based on a double exposure technique, which consists of the overlapping of photographs that can be taken across different times, spaces and, scales. In this case all the photos are taken in Brighton (UK), amid the sea, sky, people, seagulls, pebbles and piers that inhabit this city by the sea. In the works, the observer is invited to assign personal senses to the images that reflect the everyday experiences of such a place situated within a universe of magical strangeness.
